Last week we had our second meet up and it was wonderful! The Ope is such a creative and cosy space to be in and it was feeling extra festive with twinkling lights and candles, delicious mince pies and the aromas of mulled wine filling the air. Lucy and Emily from 3Acre Blooms also worked their magic filling the space with their beautiful local greenery and dried plants and flowers. Their workshop was the perfect start to the festive season, floral faffing is really therapeutic and it provided an opportunity to switch off and relax before all the Christmas chaos ensues! My favourite part as ever was definitely hanging out with such inspiring creative women and it was great to meet some new faces. I loved reading this on Instagram from one of the ladies who came along -
"Although being a Mum can be lonely due to lack of adult conversation, attending events like this really can make a massive difference"
The next meet up is on Saturday the 16th December at the Chintz Emporium in Falmouth, a Christmas party for all of us freelance/ stay at home parents, I can't wait to have a few festive drinks with you all and there are still some tickets available so get in touch if you would like to come along.
